Over the past two years, the Young Pioneers Network (YPN) came to Kumasi to deliver project L.E.A.D. Project L.E.A.D is an initiative to help young people from deprived backgrounds develop their leadership skills and increase their political knowledge. Through this project, young people Learn, are Equipped, Act and Deliver.
With our partner Street Children Project, YPN delivered workshops and practical based activities to help 50 young people, aged 16-20, living and working on the streets. The activities were centered around developing their teamwork, leadership skills and political literacy. YPN also donated t-shirts, pens and notepads and provided food and snacks after the sessions.
